They were built for humans, not autonomous actors. This is a new category of identity: Agent Customer Identity — where agents must authenticate, authorize, and act across company boundaries just like a user would, but with far greater control, traceability, and risk. Existing IAM and CIAM platforms break down entirely here. Prefactor fills that gap. Our platform introduces typed identities, scoped tokens, revocable sessions, and delegated access flows built specifically for agents. Backed by a domain-specific language (DSL), we allow engineers to define, deploy, and audit agent access logic as code — versioned, testable, and CI/CD ready. In the $21.5B IAM market growing at 15% YoY, agent access is the next frontier.
